SOROKA is a brand-new independent store that has joined the high street of Walton Street, South Kensington. This unique concept store is committed to supporting independent brands, offering carefully curated items from around the world. SOROKA values vintage, modern and bespoke products with a focus on quality craftsmanship, up-and-coming designers and creative merchandising. The shop presents a range of gift and home décor pieces, including homeware, textiles, fashion, and well-being products.

The key aim of the lighting design was to illuminate the vibrant colours and textures of the space, bringing it to life while highlighting individual products. Lucent Lighting were appointed to provide lighting solutions for this project, using a variety of fixtures to create a bright overall atmosphere and spotlight the one-of-a-kind products on display.

As shoppers enter the store, they are transported to a vibrant bazaar of bright colours, stacked shelves, and dazzling displays. Lucent track spotlights, TUBE LED MINI 3 circuit track and TUBE LED MICRO low voltage track surface mounted, were installed to provide a good quality light source to render the colours beautifully. The spotlights enhance the bright reds and yellows on the walls, bringing out the various textures from materials, tiles, and paints.

Lucent track spotlights, TUBE LED NANO low voltage track, were also cleverly integrated into shelves to illuminate merchandise, highlighting each product and giving the unique craftsmanship the spotlight that it deserves.
